Now completing his third year as Executive Director of PFPA after serving 12 years in the Pennsylvania House of
Representatives, Matt has plenty of updates for PFPA members regarding PFPA’s legislative achievements, ongoing agenda
items, and the direction of your association. Matt will provide a full update on PFPA’s government affairs program, efforts to
grow our industry’s reach through outreach, promotion and education, and the outlook on our industry’s interests in the
State Capitol in the current policymaking environment.
Based on audience interest, discussion topics may include: Markets and Economic Conditions, State and Federal Level
Partnerships and Advocacy, Municipal Ordinances and ACRE, Transportation and Road Bonding, Environmental Regulations,
Forest Products and Carbon, conservation organizations’ work with commercial timber harvesters, PFPA’s work with regional,
state and national partners, Hardwood promotion initiatives and more!
These are FREE events, open to PFPA members & their invited guests. Pre-registration is required.
Please bring a healthy appetite and plenty of questions! Last year’s regional meetings provided plenty of
opportunity for member input and engagement. This year’s circuit will provide an excellent opportunity to share
updates while preparing PFPA’s legislative agenda for next year!!
